You may have noticed a new face at Lakewood Elementary. That is the assistant principal intern Jahara Davis. Jahara Davis is a lot of things: a mother, student, administrator, and a lot more. But, at her core lies a multi-faceted and caring individual. This video dives into vignettes of her life as she grows into her position of assistant principal intern following the path to becoming a school administrator while studying at North Carolina Central University.

This video would not have been possible without Jahara herself. Getting to know her and document her life has truly been a blessing. It has been such a joy to get to know her, her views, and her story. She is an opinionated and elegant speaker; I could listen to her for hours. Everyone that gets to meet her is honestly lucky as she is a light the world truly needs.
